Meet Our Founder

In 2020, Capabilitix was founded by current CEO and President Maike DeMaria because she saw a need in the North Alabama community for a Business Development and operational support company that would put the customer’s mission first. Maike’s entrepreneurial spirit stems from multiple moves as a spouse of an Armed Forces member and her early years as a Project Manager in Germany.  During her 38-year international professional career, she worked in large corporations, non-profit organizations, and small businesses in various leadership positions. These experiences and lessons learned in the diverse fields of business built the foundation for Maike’s business ethics. They fueled her passion for supporting organizations in growth and compliance through Business Development. training, and policies.

Over the last decade, Maike has continued to support the North Alabama community as a servant leader. Maike prides herself on taking a global approach to use the empowerment of diverse cultures to do the right things for the community and her clients.
